Well, we really should NOT be selling this ewe. She's probably as good as it gets in her pedigree: 2510, 1904, 1885, McLaughlin/Griffin 1640 and Slack 5155. This ewe is not little either. She is pretty large as a matter of fact. Then we bred her to MacCauley 3836, a Slack 2247 son out of some "Big Genetics": Kimm 7012, MacCauley 2010 and 2231. 3927's sire was used sparingly before he met his demise as a yearling. 3193 is a 2510 son; that alone should get your blood pumping because we just keep hoarding all the 2510 offspring we can. The 3193 offspring are ones that just stand out as they are nice size, really neat sheep. They flat work, combining size and muscle. This ewe's dam has made us some really nice show sheep. So we had this crazy idea last year with the Suffolks to put one of the show ewes on the bred ewe sale; Bill quickly put a kibosh on that this year; so instead, we decided to offer one of Kyle's show yearlings. We feel all 3 of the yearling ewes going to Louisville are high quality and extremely competitive.
